How to Use

HOW TO USE THE Sh.I.T LIST

The Sh.I.T. List is a resource for theater and film artists, technicians and companies.

Without registering, you can browse or search for Listings. There are 3 kinds of Listings on the Sh.I.T. List:

Shit = theater and film materials and goods for sale, rent, barter or free.
Gigs = paid and volunteer theater and film work.
Events = activities, shows and strikes (when a theater show or film is closed and loaded out of a space).

If you'd like to contact someone about a Listing, you'll need to register as either a "Diver" or a "Dumper."

Divers are registered users who can send messages asking about Shit, Gigs and Events. Divers membership is free. Just click the "Become a Diver" button at the bottom of the Home Page to get started. You'll need to provide an email address and some other information to set up your Diver Home Page.

Dumpers are users who can both send messages asking about Listings and can ALSO post their own Shit, Gigs and Events Listings. Thanks to a grant from the LIT Fund, Dumper membership is free until at least July 2015 using coupon code SH1YEAR. Just click the "Become a Dumper" button at the bottom of the Home Page to get started. You'll need to provide an email address and more information to set up your Dumper Home Page. For details on how to become a Dumper, click on the FAQ's link on the bottom of all Sh.I.T. List pages.

For information on how to create a Listing, you should also click on the FAQ's link on the bottom of all Sh.I.T. List pages.

Once your account is created and your Diver or Dumper Home Page complete, you can message fellow artists, create Listings, save some money and make some art!
